0.9mWater testing

Pool water testing on every visit.

Summer is hard on pool water in the UAE. Pool water can pass 33 °C in August, the sun burns off chlorine within hours, and pH keeps climbing. We take four readings at the start of each visit, balance them, and test again before we leave.

pH: keep it at 7.2–7.6
Keeps chlorine working and stops eyes stinging. At pH 8, most of the chlorine in the water stops doing its job.
Free chlorine: 1–3 ppm
What kills bacteria and algae. In August it can fall close to zero within a day.
Total alkalinity: 80–120 ppm
Holds pH steady so it doesn't swing between visits.
Stabiliser: 30–50 ppm
Shields chlorine from UV. Without it, strong sun can strip most of the chlorine in a couple of hours.

Pool care through the UAE year.

Daytime highs in Dubai average 24 °C in January and 41 °C in July and August. Heat and strong sun burn off chlorine and speed up algae, so we visit twice a week from May to October, when highs stay above 35 °C, and once a week from November to April.

2.3mFAQ

Pool cleaning questions, answered.

Can't see your question here? Send it on WhatsApp and we'll reply the same day.

How much does pool cleaning cost in the UAE?

Weekly pool cleaning for a private villa pool costs AED 800 a month with Clean Pool, with standard chemicals included. Summer cleaning, twice a week from May to October, costs AED 1,250 a month. A one-off clean starts at AED 380. Prices exclude 5% VAT.

How often should a pool be cleaned in the UAE?

Twice a week from May to October, when daytime highs stay above 35 °C. Heat and strong sun use up chlorine quickly, and warm water lets algae take hold within a few days. Once a week is usually enough from November to April.

Which areas of the UAE do you cover?

Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi on weekly routes, plus Ajman and Umm Al Quwain on request. In Dubai: Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills Estate, The Springs, Jumeirah, Al Barsha, Mirdif and Palm Jumeirah. In Sharjah: Al Zahia, Tilal City, Muwaileh, Al Rahmaniya and Al Suyoh. In Abu Dhabi: Saadiyat Island, Yas Island, Al Raha Gardens, Khalifa City and Al Reef.

Are your prices the same in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi?

Yes. Weekly cleaning, summer cleaning and one-off cleans cost the same in all three emirates.

What is included in a weekly pool cleaning visit?

Skimming, brushing the walls and tiles, vacuuming the floor, emptying the skimmer and pump baskets, checking filter pressure, testing pH, chlorine, alkalinity and stabiliser, dosing chemicals, and a WhatsApp report with photos. A visit takes about 45 minutes.

What is the ideal pH and chlorine level for a pool in the UAE?

Keep pH between 7.2 and 7.6 and free chlorine between 1 and 3 ppm, with total alkalinity at 80 to 120 ppm and stabiliser at 30 to 50 ppm. In UAE summer heat, pH tends to rise and chlorine burns off within hours, so test at least twice a week from May to October.

Are pool chemicals included?

Standard chemicals are included in every plan: chlorine, pH adjusters and alkalinity increaser. Salt for salt-water pools and shock treatment for green pools are quoted separately.

Do I need to be home for the pool cleaning?

No. Most customers leave gate access with us. You get photos and readings on WhatsApp when the visit is done.

What happens after a sandstorm?

Sand sinks to the floor and clogs the filter. We vacuum it to waste and backwash. Summer plan customers get a call-out within 24 hours.

My pool has turned green. Can you fix it?

Usually within three visits. We shock the water, brush every surface, and run and clean the filter until it clears. We look at it first and quote before we start.

How soon can you start?

Book a free water test on WhatsApp. We usually visit within a few days and can start weekly cleaning the week after.
